Your scoring, the slots you field each week, the bench, injured reserve, the number of teams and the format your league runs. If your pool has a salary cap you enter it here; if it does not, you leave the switch off and no dollar figure appears anywhere.
That description is the reference for everything else. A pool that counts goals double will not see the same players at the top as a pool that counts assists.
Paste it as text, from wherever you keep it. One player per line, or commas, semicolons, tabs — all of them work. Initials, bare surnames, ALL CAPS and a team code stuck on the end are all matched.
When two real players share a name we ask instead of guessing: you see each one's club, position and birth year. Anything we cannot place is listed for you, never dropped silently.
The players still available, ordered in your pool's points, with the gap over a replacement level player at his position, the slots you still have to fill, and the cap hit when your pool runs a cap.
It is an ordering, not a prediction that your team will score more.

Projections are computed from MoneyPuck.com data and our own models. Every projection is probabilistic and will be wrong a meaningful share of the time; past accuracy neither predicts nor guarantees future accuracy.
Where we have nothing to answer with, the screen says so and explains why, rather than showing a figure we cannot stand behind. That is as true of an empty column as of an absent section.
PuckPools reads what you enter; it cannot know your league's customs, its side agreements, or a rule your commissioner applies by habit. Check any figure against your own rulebook before acting on it.
